Robert Auten, 84, of Downers Grove, formerly of Benton, passed away recently.

Services were private, and arrangements were handled by DuPage Cremations, Ltd., and Memorial Chapel.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Jean; loving father of Lynda (Robert) Broome, David (Mari) Auten, Betty (Paul Lancaster) Auten, Becky (Andy) Macey and Andy Auten; beloved son of the late Edith and Dewey Auten; proud grandfather of Claire, Nick and Rob; dear brother of Kenneth, Bill Auten, Maryann Downs and the late Hiram Auten; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
