Mr. Frank Spears, 70, of Henlawson, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 2, 1980, in Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at McGhee Funeral Home, West Hamlin, by the Rev. Arthur Frye. Burial will be in Lee Spears Cemetery near Ranger. He was born Aug. 14, 1908 in Lincoln County, a son of the late Lee and Susan Elkins Spears. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leona Ricketts Spears; one son, James E. Spears of Garden City, Mich.; seven sisters, Mrs. Norma E. (Spears) Ball of Palmero, Ella Roy of Lorado, Mrs. Adina Willis of Man, Mrs. Bell Lovejoy of Hamlin, and Mrs. Lena Sias, Mrs. Mary Baker and Mrs. Rinda Crabtree, all of Midkiff, and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
