The Rev. Walter Baumbaugh will officiate at the funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Shawley Memorial Chapel, 2901 South Washington Street, for Mrs. Mabel Apple, 70, 3503 S. Boots Street.
Mrs. Apple died at 6:30 p.m. Monday 20 November 1967 in a Marion nursing home after being ill three years. The Muncie native moved to Marion about forty years ago. She was a member of the Home Park Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Thurman Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Violet) Diskey and Mrs. Silas (Marcelle) Cantrell, both of Marion; two sons, Thurman Jr., Marion and Wesley A., Jonesboro; two brothers, Arthur Vorhees, Muncie and William Vorhees, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
