Albert H Copelan has a CSA pension application on line in the GA archives virtual vault. It includes his death certificate from Jan 31, 1935 and shows parents as Jasper Copelan and Mary Furlough. He says in the beginning of the paperwork that he enlisted in April 1863 and served with Company A of the 1st GA reserves. He surrendered with his unit at Andersonville, GA in 1865. He was also a witness on the application of Charles M. King of Greene County, who served in the same unit.
