EMERSON A. KRETZER, SR.

Emerson A. Kretzer, Sr., 83, St. Joseph, died Thursday, December 26, 1991, at a local health-care center.
Born in Oregon, MO, Mr. Kretzer lived most of his life in St. Joseph.
He was a carpenter and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Carpenter's Local #110.
In 1928, he married Lillian Rehm. She survives of the home.
Mr. Kretzer was preceded in death by two sons, Charles J. Kretzer, Jr. and Richard M. Kretzer, Sr.; two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
Additional survivors; three sons, John J. Kretzer, Sr., Emerson A. Kretzer, Jr. and Gary F. Kretzer, Sr., all of St. Joseph; a brother, Clarence Wiedmer of St. Joseph; two sisters, Pauline Allen of Hurst, Texas and Alice Adams of Glendale, California; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
PRAYER SERVICE: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Heaton-Borman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited tonight at the funeral home.
