Graveside services for Venita Wanda Graham, 73, of Palestine, Texas were held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. Mrs. Graham went home Wednesday, October 28,2009 to be with her Lord after a long battle with cancer. She was born on October 7, 1936 in Fayette County Texas to Benito G. Rodriguez, Sr. and Juana Cardenas Rodriguez. Mrs. Graham was a wonderful person who helped so many people and families in their time of need. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Paul Graham in September 2009 and a son, James W. Graham in January 2004. Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, John Roderick Graham,wife Crystal and Alan Clint Graham,wife Dawn and a daughter, April Louise Majors, husband Mark, all of Palestine, Texas and numerous grandchildren.

The good news is that God wants you to pass the tests of life so he never allows them to be greater than the grace he gives you to handle them. The Bible says, "God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out."
