Fania Rayagnes Abbott (nee Vantrece) Passed away peacefully at her home at age 86, on October 28, 2009 with her loving family at her side. Fania, also known as "Ganka" was a former resident of Tennessee, and now a life long resident of Joliet, a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and god-mother. Previously a member of the True Vine C.O.G.I.C., now a life member, loyal servant, church advocate, church Mother and Evangelist at St. James C.O.G.I.C. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer J. Abbott; daughters, Luvenia Riley, Ruth Earlene Cruickshank, and Sylvia O'Valerie Abbott. Survived by one sister-in-law, Arabelle (Troy, deceased) Vantrece, children, Estella (Nathaniel) Smith, Christiana (Kenneth) Wines, Raymond Abbott, Deborah Salinas, Reuben Abbott, Broderick (Cindy) Abbot, Laine (Alisa), and Gilbert Cruickshank, Jonathan (Ruby) Abbott, Josiah (Pam) Abbott, Judaea (Kim) Johnson, son-in-law, Lonkey Riley, and special thanks to Mykael and Eric Salinas. Fania leaves behind a long and loving legacy of god-sons and daughters, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grand daughter.
