Last Rites Held For Miss Cordie Brewer
Last rites were held Friday, June 5, for Miss Cordie Brewer, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan H. McCown officiating. Interment was in West Bridgeport Cemetery under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home.
Miss Brewer passed away at her home here at 6:45 p.m. June 3rd.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Walker, Paradise; Mrs. John Grisham and Miss Pearl Brewer of Bridgeport, and one brother, Oscar Brewer of Slaton.
Pallbearers were her nephews, James and Elbert Grisham, James and Morgan Walker, Bill Brewer and Spencer Brewer.
