MRS. MAY DEAL DIES AT MINERAL WELLS, TEX
Mrs. May Deal, wife of A. W. Deal, died at Mineral Wells, Tex. last Friday morning. She had stopped at that place while on a trip to the south with her husband, which it had been hoped would benefit her health. She took worse shortly before reaching Mineral Wells, and in a few hours passed away. The body arrived here Saturday afternoon, and Sunday afternoon at the M. E. Church funeral services were held, being in charge of Rev. Charles C. Mansfield, pastor of the Church of God at Oklahoma City, assisted by Rev. A. B. Carpenter, a Christian minister of Oklahoma City. Burial was at the Odd Fellows' cemetery, where the Rebekah Lodge, of which deceased was a member, was in charge. The services at both the church and cemetery were largely attended, many old-time friends of the family coming from many parts of the state to attend the last sad rites.
