Ralph R Krebs, 83, of Heath, a retired farmer, died at 2:18 pm Monday in Licking County Memorial Hospital at Newark of an apparent heart attack suffered a short time earlier at his home. He was in apparent good health and death was unexpected. He was born in Adams Township, Muskingum County September 9, 1890. He had lived in Heath the past two and a half years but spent most of his life in Adams Township. Mr Krebs was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where he served as sexton 28 years and was Zion Cemetery caretaker 30 years. Survivors include his widow the former Mary Kreis, whom he married February 9, 1914; a son Raymond of Coshocton, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville 7-9 today and 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Wednesday. Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, Adamsville. The Rev Robert Binkley will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
