In Stockholm, Andy Howe called on Henry Claussen's sister, the sweetest butter maker except one that ever patted a roll in this county, now the happy wife of a prosperous merchant, ...and he rode two days and one night in the cars to see dear old mother Claussen, who went back to her native land in life's evening, leaving her lover-husband at rest on Point Reyes.

Mrs. Claussen returned from the Fatherland Tuesday to the home of her son, Henry Claussen, on Point Reyes, where also is the grave of her husband. With the mother came a young lady, Miss Clara M. Wallengren. The two ladies were met in the city by Mr. Claussen, and before they left Miss Wallengren had become Mrs. Claussen, and the veteran dairyman took home a mother and a bride.

Place of death back then was considered "Point Reyes Proper," which is modern day "Point Reyes National Seashore." The little township of Point Reyes Station is 25 miles away from "the point."
