Paul Edward Martin, the son of Edd and Cordelia Bolwar Martin, was born October 25, 1913, in Davis County and died April 24, 1984, at the Davis County Hospital at the age of 70 years. October 2, 1935 he married Margaret Leon. To this union two daughters and one son were born.
He operated the Sinclair Station in Bloomfield for a number of years before moving to Rawlins, Wyoming, where he was employed for 28 years with the United States Postal Service. Upon retirement he returned to Bloomfield, Iowa. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rawlins, Wyoming.
He is survived by his wife of Bloomfield, Iowa; two daughters, Mitzi Shroyer of Jackson, Michigan, and Vicki Jack of Rawlins, Wyoming; one son, Paul Edward Jr. of Grand Junction, Colorado; two granddaughters, two great granddaughters and one sister, Pauline Burton of Riverton, Wyoming.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 27, 1984, at the Priester Funeral Chapel, Bloomfield, conducted by the Rev. Ellis Andrews. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
