MRS VIRGIL KREIS DEAD
Mrs Virgil Kreis died at her temporary home in Akron, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 7, 1917. She was taken sick of measles and had almost recovered when pneumonia set in and her death soon followed. Mrs Della May Kreis was the daughter of Edward and Magdalena Roahrig Baker and was born in Coshocton County, 11 May, 1897. Her parents are both dead and after their death she made her home with an uncle, David Roahrig of Adams Township. On March 9, 1916, she was married to Mr Virgil Kreis who survives her and mourns the early removal of his affectionate young wife. Soon after marriage Mr and Mrs Kreis moved to Coshocton where they lived until January when they temporarily moved to Akron. Mrs Kreis was a member of the Lutheran Church and a young woman of many good qualities. She had the respect and good will of a large circle of friends who deeply mourn her early removal from their midst. Besides her husband, one sister, Mrs Edna Jennings, survives her. The remains were brought from Akron to Coshocton and from that city to the Zion Lutheran Church where funeral services were conducted Friday forenoon by Rev Ira R Ladd, pastor of the Adamsville parish. Burial was made in the Zion Cemetery.
