Shreveport, LA. - Margie was a loving,caring, and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was born on April 2, 1929 and departed this earth on June 25, 2009. She now has a new life with the Lord.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Vivian Moffett; sisters, Ethel Graves, Lessie Williams and Eula Bradley; brothers, R.W. Lavelle and Leon Moffett.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Claude; son William and wife Dodie Duncan; Linda and husband Jerry Hughes and Sandra Duncan; sister, Yvonne Morrow; brother, Ruben Moffett; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren; Michael Duncan, Patrick Duncan, Matt Chaplin, Brett Green, Stanley Purdy and Tim Pulley. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Stoner Avenue.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6-8 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held at the Rose-Neath Chapel 10:00 a.m. Monday. Rev. Eddie DeHendt will be officiating.
