FORD, James Edward, 82, Ashland, died June 28, 1980. He was a resident of Benton County, a farmer, a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Robert E. and Myrtie Street Ford. Services were June 30 at 2 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev Thomas Thornton and Rev Jimmy Autry officiated. McBride Funeral Home was in charge. Survivors include his wife, Grace Simpson Ford, Ashland; one son, Nelson Ford, Ashland; one daughter, Bardee Autry, Ashland; one brother, Leland Ford, Ripley; three sisters, Mrs. Dewey May, Blue Mountain, Mrs Vardie Graves, Ashland, Mrs. Keith Graves, Ripley; three grandchildren; 5 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were Waymon Needham, Leroy Wilson, W. T. Simpson, Donald Simpson, Vardie Sanderson and Woodrow Masengill.
