I, Green Clack, Planter
Dedicated to the memory of sister - Elizabeth Wilson
She was a daughter of Bankston Wright. She was born in South Carolina, December 23, 1845. She united with the Baptist Church in South Carolina in early life, later her family came to Georgia. She was married to W.A. Wilson about 55 years ago. Sister Wilson was a Charter Member together with her husband at the organization of Union Grove Baptist Church in the year of our Lord, July 30, 1879. Sister Wilson remained a member of Union Grove Church until God said to her come up here on April 26, 1927. She departed life her body was laid in its last resting place in Union Grove Cemetery. Funeral was conducted by Rev. R.L. Lawson, Pastor. In sister Wilson the Church has lost one of its best members but, our loss is her eternal gain. We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereft family in their hour of grief while her body is returned to earth from which it came. Yet her memory still lives in the minds of those who knew her. She built an influence and character that shall live on.
