Church in Okay with the Rev.

Mr. Bruce
was born
July 24, 1905,
in Clinton,
Ark., the son
of Yerb aud Sally Bruce, and
He married Agnes Gosvener on
Nov. 19, 1927, in Stigler, and has
lived in this area since 1927. He
was a member of the Christian
Fellowship Church in Okay for
44 years and also a member of
the Masonic lodge in Pierre,
S.D., the local Carpenters Union
and the Millright Union. Mr.
Bruce has worked as a car-
penter since 1940.
Pallbearers will be grandsons
and great-grandsons, Jared
Bruce, Greg Strebel, Doug
Strebel, John Paul Thomas Jr.,
Jared Thomas, Johnny Horn-
back, Greg Evans and Scott
Puckett. Honorary pallbearers
will be nephews.
Survivors include wi{e, Agnes
Bruce of the home; one son,
Elton Bruce of Hulbert; one
daughter and son-in-law, Wilma
June and Col. Eugene Strebel of
Redlands, Calif.; two grand-
daughters, Cecelia and Johnny
Hornback ot Muskogee and
Kathryn Bruce Thomas of Stig-
ler; four grandsons, Jared
Bruce of Tulsa, Dr. Greg Strebel
of San Diego, Calif., and Doug
and Lee Strebel of Houston,
Texas; nine great-
grandchildren; two great-great-
grandchildren; two sisters,
Lucille Jones of Clinton, Ark.,
and Lillis Isreal of Clinton, Ark.
