Brant R. McKee
Brant R. McKEE, 70, died at 11:30 a.m. today at the home of his son, Billy A. McKEE, 1223 Jackson boulevard, where he had made his home the past four months. He had been ill since Jan.11. Mr. McKee was a retired postoffice employee and past commander of the local American Legion post.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Brant R. McKEE, 70, who died of a heart attack Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. in his home, 1223 Jackson boulevard. The Rev. Graham MARSH will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. The American Legion Post will assist in the services. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Mr. McKee had been ill since Jan. 11. A lifetime resident of this community, he was born June 11, 1893, the son of Albert and Eliza ROUCH McKEE.
For 42 years he had worked for the Rochester postoffice, 24 years as a city letter carrier and 18 years as a rural route driver. He retired from the postal service Oct. 31, 1957.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. McKee was a past commander of the Leroy Shelton Post, American Legion, and was one of three members given lifetime Legion membership for distinguished service. He also was a member of the First Christian church and of the Manitou Moose lodge, which he also had served as officer.
Mr. McKee's marriage was Aug. 16, 1919, in Rochester to Beulah ADAMSON, who died July 3, 1956.
Surviving are a son, Bill [McKEE], 1223 Jackson boulevard; two grandchildren, George and Tom [McKEE]; four sisters, Mrs. Bernie (Katherine) SCHMIDT, Metuchen, N.J.; Mrs. Harry (Bess) SHEPHERD, Phoenix; Mrs. Joe (Gladys) BEISEL, Osceola, and Mrs. Agnes HOGOBOOM, South Bend, and several nieces and nephews.
