DEATH OF A YOUNG MOTHER
Mrs. Albert McKay died Tuesday evening January 7, at the home of her husband's father, Wm McKay where she had been taken in order to insure better care than she could get on the ranch. The cause of her death was pneumonia, following influenza. The funeral was held this afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Sykes conducting the services and the body was laid to rest in the Mausoleum by the Waterville Undertaking Co.
Crystal Maude Fletcher, was born October 26, 1894, on the J. M. Fletcher ranch northeast of Waterville. On November 19, 1915, she was married to albert McKay, of Waterville. To this union two children were born, Lois Helen, two and one-half years, and Alice Maxine, age one year. She also leaves to mourn their loss besides her husband and children, her mother, Mrs. Nancy A. Fletcher, six brothers and four sisters. The brothers are Chas E., Albert F., and Fred T., of Waterville, R. P. of Withrow; Ralph A. of Seattle and William H., of Okanogan. The sisters are Mrs. Geo. Kinnzebach and Mrs. Chas Bell, of Waterville, Mrs. W. C. Peach, of Mansfield; and Mrs. D. L. Gillespie, of Brewster.
The bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
