Esther Van Druff, 71, Broadwater, died Saturday at a Scottsbluff hospital. She was born at Elwood, Nebr., Nov. 8, 1898, a daughter of the late William A, and Amanda Miller Schwass.

On Oct. 12, 1918, she married Bryce L. Van Druff at Minden. They lived in Bushnell until 1926 when they moved to Broadwater, residing there since that time.

She was a member and elder of the Broadwater Presbyterian Church, a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Bridgeport and a member of the Broadwater OES, Kensington.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Fay (Blythe) Thacker of Mitchell, Mrs. John C. (Evelyn) Hamilton of Denver and Mrs. Sylvester (Audrey) Kloch of Broadwater; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One son preceded her in death.
