Mrs. Ethel Gertrude Legg, 80, 311 Pratt Ave. SE, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mastin Lake Church of God.
Burial will be in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery in Danville with Spry Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Kenneth Staggs and the Rev. James Williams will officiate.
Survivors include a son, L. M. Legg of Chickasaw; two daughters, Mrs. Panzie Purser of Anniston and Mrs. Libbie Turney of Huntsville; four brothers, W. A. Phillips of Bailey, Lester Phillips of Sheffield, Onnie Phillips of Killarney, Fla., and Lonnie Phillips of Cullman; four sisters, Mrs. Pluma Hunter of Hartselle, Mrs. Lucille Walraven of Vinemont, Mrs. Hettie Wilson of Bailyton and Mrs. Bertha Chambers of Cardova; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Christa, Lemuel Gulley, Bernard Stanskey, Elbert Reese, Jim Lott and Wiley Dilworth.
The body will be at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
