Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 15, at 2:30 pm from the Cox funeral home in Warriors Mark for Frank Howard Geist of Warriors Mark R. D., who died Thursday, January 12 1961, in the Tyrone Hospital at 10:25 pm.
The Rev Leland W. Loemer will officiate. Internment will be made in Burkety Cemetery. Friends will be received at teh funeral home after 2 pm today until the time for services on Sunday.
Mr. Geist was born October 27, 1894 in Franklinville a son of Frnaklin Pierce and Susan (Kinch) Geist. He was married December 16, 1909 at Warriors Mark to Erma Kinch who preceded him in death in 1950.
surviving are one daughter, mrs. Eber Baney and one son William Geist, both of Warrirors Mark, R. D. There are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviviing ar the following borthers and sisters; Mrs. Daisy Miller, Miss Zella Geist, and Miss Angeline Geist, all of Altoona, Mrs. Estella Isenberg, Mrs. Gladyce Mohnkern and Chester Geist, all of State College and Wilson Geist of Warriors Mark.
He was a member of the Warriors Mark Methodist Church. Mr Geist was a retired Boilermaker.
