Isabelle E. (Lasher) Early, 95, of Cowansville died June 10, 2011 at Kittanning Care Center. She was born May 12, 1916 in Adrian to Lewis and Mary Jane Lasher. Isabelle was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area. She loved to quilt and pick berries. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda (James) Rottman of Chicora; her sons, Carl (Kay) Early of Shelocta and Gary Early of Cowansville; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer Early who passed away in 1984, and sons; Roy J., Early, Gayle M., Early and an infant son. She is also preceded in death by two brothers; Clifford and Delbert Lasher and one sister, Alice Burford. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at 11 AM, with one additional hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Isabelle E. (Lasher) Earley, 95, of Cowansville, died Friday, June 10, 2011, in Kittanning Care Center. Born May 12, 1916, in Adrian, she was a daughter of the late Lewis L. and Mary Jane (Lasher) Lasher. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Brush Valley Brethren Church in Adrian. Mrs. Earley loved to quilt and pick berries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Earley, who passed away in 1984; two sons, Roy J. Earley and Gayle M. Earley; an infant son; two brothers, Clifford and Delbert Lasher; and a sister, Alice Burford. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda (James) Rottman, of Chicora; two sons, Carl (Kay) Earley, of Shelocta, and Gary Earley, of Cowansville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, in Cowansville. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Blaine Blattenberger and Pastor Nicholas Kostella co-officiating.
