VALLEY, AL -- Mr. Jack D. Aaron, 78, of Valley died Tuesday, 7 Jan 2003 at Florence Hand Nursing Home in LaGrange, GA.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, 9 Jan 2003 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Lanett, AL with Revs Doug Blackmon and Jerome King officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Aaron is survived by his wife, Sarah W. Aaron; his daughter, Sharon A. Newman; his son, Woodson (Buddy) Aaron; five brothers, Andrew Aaron, Leroy Aaron, Marshall Aaron, Rev LaFayette Aaron and Wissey Aaron; two sisters, Jewell Bennett and Mildred Cotney; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Born 27 Aug 1924 in Chambers County, AL, Mr. Aaron was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, 8 Jan 2003 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lanett, AL.
