Mrs. DAVIS, wife of Morton DAVIS, of Taylor Township, died at the family residence at Evans Landing last Friday. She was esteemed and respected by all who knew her. The remains were laid to rest at the Evans Landing burying ground in the presence of a number of relatives and friends..

Mrs. Lizzie DAVIS, died 2 December, 1898. She leaves a husband and five children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. Her last words were,"All is well." Her remains were laid to rest in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Rev. ABBOTT, of Louisville, Ky. conducting funeral services. [Mrs. John DAVIS, of New Albany, Indiana, attended the funeral of Mrs. Lizzie (Meisner) DAVIS]..

It is said that Benjamin H. "Harry" DAVIS was always sad at Christmas time. This is said to have been because his mother, Elizabeth C. (Meisner) DAVIS died 2 December, 1898, always making him think of her, then...
