DODGE CITY – Earline Bell-Luginbill, 79, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at The Good Samaritan Center, Dodge City.

She was born August 10, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Earl and Margurite Palmer Crowson. A Dodge City resident since 1944, moving from Tulsa, she was a homemaker.



She was a life member of the Howard Gotschall VFW Post 1714 Auxiliary, GI Forum, College Reagents, Women of the Moose, Red Hat, Ford County Democratic Women all of Dodge City and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary 0486 in Zapata, Texas.

On January 14, 1948 she married Glenn M. Bell at Dodge City. He passed away in 1978. She then married K.C. Luginbill on August 31, 1984 in Cimarron, Kansas. He passed away on April 6, 2000.



Survivors include: 3 sons, Michael Bell and wife Jan, Olathe, Kansas, Dennis L. Bell and wife Martha, Dodge City, and Joe Bell, Toronto Lake, Kansas; her daughter, Laura Fitzmorris and husband Roger, Coyville, Kansas; a step-son, Jeff Luginbill and wife Barbara, Towanda, Kansas; her sister, Jackie Pennington, Dickinson, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leon Crowson; 2 sisters, Pat McCabe and Juanita Culver, and a step son, Gary Luginbill.



Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2009 at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. There will be no public visitation cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel.



The family suggests memorials to the Friends of the Zoo in care of Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
