Funeral services for Rev. J. H. Lawther, who died at Lorain, O., were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 O'clock from the Jos. S. Rice company chapel, East North street, with the Rev. D. Porter Williams of East Palestine, O., a boyhood and college friend of the deceased, officiating.
Pallbearers were Marshall Harlan, Merle Hildebrand, John Lawther, Wendell Lawther, Bruce Bowen and Roy Lawther.
Interment was in Oak Park cemetery.
Services for Rev. Lawther ere largely attended with friends coming from East Liverpool, Niles, O., Butler and Pittsburgh, where he formerly held pastorates.
