The Carnegie Herald, Wed., Jan. 21, 1931
Margeret A. Myers
Margeret A. Knob was born at Dublin, Texas May 9, 1869 and departed this life Jan. 14, 1931 at the age of 61 years, 8 months and 5 days.
She joined the church at an early age and was loved by all who knew her. She has known great sorrow but was never known to complain. Always going thru life serving others.
Altho her death was sudden, we know she did not suffer--"only went to sleep with Jesus to await us on that other shore."
"Oh, mother, how we'll miss her
Since her loving hands are still,
But we would not call her back from Jesus,
Where we know she 'waits us still."
Oh children, do not weep for me,
I've only gone before.
To await you in the future,
On that bright, celestial shore."
Margeret A. Knob was married to Hanson A. Myers in 1886. To this union was born seven children, all of whom were present except one son, Willie Myers of Clovis, New Mex., at the funeral. The children are Mrs. Bessie Gentry, Stratford; Mrs. Birdie Kendricks, Eakly; Willie Myers, Clovis, New Mex.; Mrs. Frankie Coffman, Okfuskee; Herbert Myers, Alfalfa; Mrs. Irene Underchuter, Okemah, and Mrs. Zelda Hamly, Okemah.
Her husband preceded her in death March 13, 1930. She leaves to mourn her death, besides her children, 17 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of friends.
