Obituary Wendell Ray "Butch" Garrison

BORGER – Wendell Ray "Butch" Garrison, 68, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, in Hutchinson County.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Word of Life Church with Doc Shuman officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Butch was born on Nov. 30, 1939, to Clarence and Ora J. Treadway Garrison in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.

He was a truck driver for Turner Energy.

He was married to Paula Christine "Chris" Barker on July 27,1981 in Las Vegas Nevada. She preceded him in death on Dec. 16, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Clint Garrison of Amarillo and Warren William Burrows of Borger; three daughters, Pamela Michelle Burrows White of Marfa and Regina Lynn Terpening and Shanda Kay Swilor, both of Salt Lake City; a brother, Albert Garrison of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
