Obituary: Whitman Miss Mae E. Greene at one time a resident of Whitman and Brockton, died after a long illness at a Waltham hospital on Thursday. She was in her 46th year. Miss Greene was born in Danvers, the daughter of Charles F. and Elizabeth (Goldthwaite) Greene. She had been more or less ill most of her life, and had spent the last seven years at the hospital. Miss Greene is survived by her father, two brothers, Carl E. of Long Island and William of Rutland, Mass; a sister, Mrs. Ella Gerstley of Brockton and several nieces and nephews among them being Harold, Edward and Donald Green of Whitman. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, 609 Washington Street, Whitman Monday, April 20 at 1 p.m. and the interment will follow in Colebrook Cemetery.
