Services for Billy Buck Ashley, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.
Mr. Ashley, 69, died Oct. 25, 2009, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 20, 1940, to James Calvin Ashley and Ida Earls Ashley.
He retired from Delphi. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Ashley loved playing softball and also belonged to the J.M. Wesson Masonic Lodge No. 317.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Calvin and Ida Ashley; and his brothers, James and Ed Ashley.
Survivors are his wife, Judy Allen Ashley; his sons, Scott Ashley and Toby Ashley and wife, Billie Ann; a brother, Donald Earl Ashley; his sisters, Louise Ashley Byrd and husband, Malford T., and Dorothy Faye Davis and husband, Herbert Ballard Davis Sr.; a brother- and sister-in-law, Carlton and Carol Cobb; and a grandchild, Garrett Ashley.
