Doris Laverne Lamb Daniel, daughter of the late Everett Lamb and Faye Stone Lamb, was born June 28, 1933, in Gassville, Arkansas. She departed this life on January 2, 2007, at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 5 days.
She was united in marriage to Archie Daniel and to this union two children were born. During her working years, she worked as a cook in a Mt. Home nursing home and at the Gassville Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by one son, Ricky Daniel of Port Lavaca, Texas; one daughter, Janice Phillips of Norfork; one brother, Sherman Lamb of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Gunita Sanders of Dolph, Virginia Bowling of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dixie Byrd of Gainesville, Missouri; five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
