George Herbert Hendley, 83, died at his home, 221 Short Eleventh Street, this morning at 2 o'clock. The hour of the funeral has not been set pending word from relatives, but services will be at the Farmington Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The body will remain at the Byrn Funeral Home until the funeral.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marie Hendley, and the following children, Fred H., Los Angeles, Harry, Phoenix, Ariz., Pat and George Hendley, Mayfield, Charles of the county, Bobbie and Lula Nell Hendley at home, Sam Chicago, John K., Keesterfield, Miss., Thomas, Selfridge Field, Mich., and Mrs. Verbal Lander, Water Valley.
Also surviving is a brother, J. A. Hendley, Dade City, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Olna Marberry, Dallas, Texas, and ten grandchildren.

Friday Morning
Funeral services for George Herbert (Hub) Hendley, who died Wednesday morning at his home on Short Eleventh Street, will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the Farmington Baptist Church. Rev. Beckham Garland and Rev. Keidell Thomas will have charge of the services. Burial will be in the Farmington cemetery. The body will remain at the Byrn Funeral Home until time for the services.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Hendly's sons, Pat, George, Tom, Sam, John, and Charles. Assisting with the flowers will be his nieces, Mrs. Leslie Lochridge, Mrs. Paul Stevens, Mrs. John Stevens, Mrs. Edwin Ferguson, Mrs. Carl Dick, and Rosette Wyatt.
