He graduated from MississippiSouthernCollege, now known as University of SouthernMississippi with a degree in Geography and Geology and after college accepted a position as a Soil Analyst with the Texas Highways Department in Houston, Texas. He met and married AdaNorfleeteWilkes of Petal, Mississippi and they were the parents of Norvin....
