Siblings: Robert Bryant Moncur (1861–1943), William Franklin Moncur (1863–1924), Heber Moncur (1868–1955), Wallace Moncur (1874–1954), Frances Helen [Moncur] Owen (1877–1956), Donald Wesley Moncur (1879–1959), and Reuben L Moncur (1882–1949). He was married to Helen Marion Thaxton (1869–1929) and they are the parents of Harve Moncur Jr. (1889-1957), Charles Moncur (1892-1961), Wallace Moncur (1894-1955), Theda Ann Moncur (1896-1974), James Moncur (1897-1972), Thelma Moncur (1902-1966), Cherrizade Moncur (1905-1972) and Helen Marion Moncur (1908-1936).
