Dudley F. Bean, 79, died Tuesday at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness.
He was born Nov. 15, 1887, at Presque Isle, the son of Frank and Lina (Hipps) Bean.
He married Belle Achorn and they settled in East Corinth and then moved to Exeter in 1953.
Surviving besides his wife, are four daughters, Mrs. Arnold Duran of Portland, Mrs. Anna Keaugh of Monson, Mass., Mrs
Lyall Downing of here, and Mrs. Robert Kee of Roanoke Rapids, N. C.; six sons, Franklin and Willis, both of East Corinth, Lester of Hampden Highlands, Ralph of here, Winston of Blacksburg, Va., Herbert of Bangor; one sister, Mrs. Bernard Kenney of Mapleton; 51 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home in East Corinth.
Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery, East Corinth.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
