Eckhart--Howard W. Hansel, 38, former miner, in ill health for five years, died this morning. He was a member of the Eckhart Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David P. Hansel, Frostburg; his widow, Mrs. Mae (Watson) Hansel; two daughters, Thelma and Mary Jane Hansel; six sons, William, Donald, Ray, David, John and Robert, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Logsdon, Piedmont, and Mrs. Lester Fatkin, Frostburg; four brothers, Elmer, Eckhart; and Harry, Ervin, and Edgar Hansel.
