Ill since election day last November, David F. Brown died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. M. Sweitzer, Shippenville, Christmas day at 12:15.
Deceased was born at Rural Valley, Armstrong County, October 24, 1843, removing to Porter township, Clarion county, in infancy, and having since made his home there. He was the youngest and last of a family of six children, and was preceded in death by his wife who died in April of this year.
Surviving children of Mr. Brown are Mrs. Vae Sweitzer of Shippenville, Frank Brown of Tampa, Fla., and Floyd Brown of New Bethlehem. Services were held at the Squirrel Hill Methodist Church.
