CHARLES A.PRENTICE, 63
Franklin-Charles A Prentice, 63 of 513 Maple Street died at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcesterfollowing a long illness. He was the husband of Genevieve T (Invernizzi) Prentice.
He was born in Cambridge, son of the late Frederick J. & Grace (Grindle) Prentice and had been a resident of Franklin since 1954.
He was educated in Cambridge
He was a life member and past commander from 1985 to 1986 of the Franklin Post 3042 VFW
He was a former Little League Manager in Franklin, a member of the senior citizens and AARP.
During WWII he served with the US Navy and received the American Area Campaign Medal
In additon to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Glenn C, David P, John F. Prentice,all of Franklin, and Steven M.Prentice of Wrentham; a sister, Mrs Sarah Mullin of Cold Brook, NY and eight grandchildren.
