Viney, Vince A. J. Stevens Point/Madison - Vince A. J. Viney, age 28, died on Saturday, July 2, 1994 of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born on November 19, 1965 in Madison, the son of Jerome C. Viney and Donna J.Showers. He was a 1984 graduate of East High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the U. W. Stevens Point in May of 1994. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and in 1991 spent four months in Alaska. He worked as a carpenter for Town and Country Builders and operated his own company V & V Builders. He was a former hockey official. He is survived by his parents, Donna and Joe Jerzewski of Madison and Jerome and Nancy Viney of Oregon; two sisters, Sherry Viney (fiance Todd Kraemer) of Fitchburg and Tami Wiswall (and friend Brent Moore) of Madison; a brother Brent Viney of Oregon; his paternal grandparents, Woody and Marie Viney of Oregon; a stepmother, Diane Viney of Oregon; and special friends, Susan, Tucker, and Wade Peterson of Stevens Point. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 1994 in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 2450 Atwood Avenue, with the Father Michael Hippee officiating. Burial will be in the Middleton Junction Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 1994 at the Schroeder Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue, where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Now that God has taken him by the hand, he will always be able to run free among nature and the wild.
