Carl (Charlie) L. Anderson, 81, retired Dodgeville farmer, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 1963, in a Dodgeville hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Oslo, Norway, and came to the United States when he was 3 years old. His wife, the former Maggie Gulson of Dodgeville, died in 1933. He retired from farming in 1950, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Madison survivors include two sons: Marvel, 2110 Shafer Dr., and Gene, 810 Lamont Lane. Other survivors include four sons, Colbert, Phoenix, Ariz.; Milo and Duwayne, both of Dodgeville; and Vernus, Ft. Benning, Ga.; five daughters, Mrs. Wilford Halverson (Ollie), Deerfield; Mrs. Clarence Harms (Gretchen), Mrs. Aldro Anderson (Elnora), and Mrs. Warner Dahler (Anzonette), all of Dodgeville; and Mrs. Lloyd Potterton (Naomi), Spooner; a brother John E. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 31 grandchildren, and 16 great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Grace Lutheran Church here. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Dodgeville.
