ROTH, Lorne E. - Suddenly, on Monday, September 13, 2004, at Nith View Home in New Hamburg. Lorne Edward Roth, was formerly of RR 2, Wellesley.He was born in South Easthope twp. 75 years ago, and was the son of the late Solomon B. Roth and the late Amelia Erb. Lorne farmed at RR 2, Wellesley, retiring from the farm in 1994.Dear father of Glenda and her husband John Drexler of New Hamburg, Gloria Roth of Toronto, Robert Roth of New Hamburg and Joy and her husband Todd Cressman of Linwood. Loving brother of Florence Roth of New Hamburg. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Tylor Cressman and Bradley and Jason Drexler. Brother-in-law of Ruby Roth, Elda Roth, Ruth Jantzi, Elsie Lebold, Dorothy Bechtel and Stanley Ropp and his wife Mary. Predeceased by his wife, Esther E. Roth, Dec. 14, 1988 and by five brothers, Vernon, Wilfred, Alvin, Willis and Leonard and also by a sister, Leona Roth.Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Sept. 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Thursday, removal will be made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Rev. Amsey Martin and Mahlon Roes will officiate. Burial will follow in Rush's Cemetery.Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
