CLARKSVILLE - Minnie Hites, 71, of Harrison, Ark., formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, April 15, after heart surgery at Springdale Memorial Hospital, Springdale, Ark.; survivors include a daughter, Lois Smith of Clarksville; a son, Rick of Harrison, Ark.; five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; and three sisters, Angie Dove of Parkersburg, Leona Van Dyke of Parkersburg and Verbena Brown of Waverly; she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in 1962; her son, Roger, four brothers. Hank, Bert, Jake and Abbie Adelmund; and four sisters, Alice Brummond, Kate Robertson, Mary Stevens and Evelyn Shaffer; services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hilltop Chapel and Cemetery, near Harrison, Ark.; a memorial prayer services will be 7 p.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, Clarksville.
