Funeral services are pending for Charles Ace Perry, 44, at the Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry D. Stakes officiating.
He died yesterday at 2:30 pm in a Slidell hospital following a brief illness.
Burial will be in Rynella Cemetery.
He was a resident of Slidell and a native of Memphis, Tenn. He was employed by the Defense Department and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U. S. air Force.
He was the husband of the former Mary Alice Dartez of Slidell and is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. b. W. Tracy of Gretna. he was the father of John Wesley Perry, Denise M. Perry and Kathryn Perry, all of Slidell and Mrs. Tracey Daigerpont of Tacoma, Wash,; the bother of Mrs. Hazel Wood of Phoenix, Ariz., Gladys Montgomery and Betty Jackson, both of Memphis, Linda Garnett of Kozieska, miss., Thomas A. Perry of Gunnison, Miss., John Wesley Perry of Jacksonville, Fala., Frank Perry of Memphis and Ronnie Perry of Metairie.
The Evangeline Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
