LOCAL MAN TAKEN BY DEATH
Joseph T. Trainor, Oldest Resident of Sunbury Township Dies.
Joseph T. Trainor, 89, oldest resident of Sunbury Twp. and a well known farmer in the are passed away at 10 a. m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at St. James hospital, Pontiac.
The body was taken to the Behrendt funeral home in Pontiac where visitation will begin at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 o'clock at St. Bernard's church in Sunbury, with burial in St. Patricks cemetery at Ransom. Rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Monday evening.
The deceased was born in Allen township Dec. 3, 1868. His marriage to Mary McGuire took place at St. Patrick church in Dwight, April 22, 1889, and they were the parents of eight children.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Loretta, Clement, and Cyril, at home, Harold, of Cornell, Sidney of Pontiac, Omer of Streator, Marion of Manville, and Paul, of Pontiac. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
