Gregory Scott Turner, 15, of Forest, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993 in UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA after a long illness.
Born in Lyncburg June 15, 1977, he was the son of James Samuel Turner of Evington and Donna Sue Scott Turner of Forest. He was a student at Timberlake Christian School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Beulah Sutphin Ferris, and paternal step-grandfather, Clintn Ferris; his material grandmother, Edra Bowman Turner, and maternal Step-grandfather, Bill Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Whitten Timberlake Chapel by Dr. Alan Mason and the Rev. J. C. Willrard. Interment will be at 4 p.m. in the Reed Island Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Meadows of Dan, VA.
