Alberta Bacon, age 2 years, 8 months and 28 days, died August 23 of pneumonia.

Alberta was the second daughter of Mayor and Mrs. Fred H. Bacon and had been sick not quite 2 weeks. Yet her death was not unexpected by her parents. She had be sick and was much better when the relaspe came and then she became so dangerously ill that it was feared she could not recover. However, on Wednesday afternoon she seemed to be resting a little easier, but it was the only last rally before the life chord was broken. She died at 6:10 in the evening.

Little Alberta was much beloved by her parents and sisters and her death came as a saddening event in their lives and just now Mrs. Immke and Miss Pansie Immke, her great grandmother and aunt, are visiting here and this makes her death seem the more sad.

The funeral was conducted from the house yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev John Hamerson officiating and their loving friends paid their last tribute of love and respect.

The remains were laid at rest in Forest Hill Cemetery. In this their great sorrow Mr. Bacon and family have the sincere sympathy of their friends.

Note: By the dates on her tombstone, she would have been 3 years, 8 months and 28 days.
