Paul Gilbert Blake, 89, died Dec. 30, 1999 in Jamestown, Indiana. Blake was born May 4, 1910 to George R. and Lola (Richmond) Blake. He was married to Hildegard M. Groover. She survives. Blake was a retired farmer and horse raiser. He was also a member of the Lizton Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Survivors include two sons, John P. Blake of Temple, Texas and Phillip Blake of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Judy Wisely of Carmel, Indiana; four step-sons, Joe Couch of Lebanon, Leonard Couch of Jamestown, David Groover of Lizton and Michael Groover of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held Jan. 3 at the Porter Funeral Home in Jamestown. Burial was at the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
