Oma Monroe, 88, of Paragould, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Belle Meade Nursing Center.
Mrs. Monroe was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Station Baptist Church.
Survivors include two grandchildren and spouses, DeWayne and Sheila Monroe of Paragould, and Mena and David Waters of Cocoa, Florida. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, Korina Monroe, Jeffrey Monroe, John Waters, Dylan Waters, and Andrew Waters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Monroe; one son, Wilburn Monroe; one brother; and two sons.
Burial was in Woods Chapel Cemetery.
