Dora was born the daughter of Alice M. (Maison) and Robert L. Vernier. She was preceeded in death by her parents; brothers John, Stanley, Robert, Norman, Donald and Earl, and sisters Marie, Grace (Dow), Helen (LaBeau), Arvena (Frasard), Hilda, Rosemary (Lang) and Ruthanne (Mailloux). She is survived by her loving sister, Marjorie (nee Vernier) Miller and brother, Herby Vernier; and 28 nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
